Packaging materials should be harmless and non-toxic to humans and organisms. Packaging materials should not be rich in toxic elements or heavy metals, or their content should be controlled below relevant standards.

The entire process of collecting, processing, producing goods, using goods, recycling waste, and ultimately disposing of packaging products should not cause harm to human health and the environment.
